Griffin's Blessing

The griffin is a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle;
and an eagle's talons as its front feet. As the lion was traditionally considered the king of the beasts and the eagle was the king of the
birds, the griffin was thought to be an especially powerful and majestic creature.

The griffin was also thought of as king of the creatures.

Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions. In antiquity the griffin has been a symbol of divine power and a guardian of the divine. So it's been said, that when a griffin gifts you a piece of its tresure, you're blessed and protected as long as you  don't get greedy over it.

This piece is the frist bead embroidery bracelet I#ve ever made. The center piece is a sterling silver  swarowsky earring. It was a gift for the lovely and I am so proud and happy that she likes it. Thanks again for this awesome picture of the finished piece!
